Hartsville, SC — [July 29, 2025] — Cypress Adventures is proud to announce Roots & Rhythm: Deeply Rooted, Wildly Empowered, a one-day music and arts festival celebrating the organization’s 10-year anniversary. The event will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Cypress Adventures Outdoor Education Center, located at 881 Loblolly Ln. in Hartsville, SC.

“Roots & Rhythm is a celebration of the deep roots we’ve planted together over the last ten years—of young people growing into their power, of staff and volunteers showing up with love, and of a community that believes in creativity as a force for good,” says Aimee Cox-King, founder of Cypress Adventures. “For ten years, we’ve watched young people discover their voices, challenge limits, and lead with compassion. Roots & Rhythm is a space for all of that magic to rise and be seen. It’s a celebration of who we’ve become—and who we’re still becoming, together.”

At its heart, the Roots & Rhythm Festival will be a celebration of the voices and stories that shape our community—where seasoned artists and emerging young talent come together to create, inspire, and connect. This festival will be a bridge across generations, inviting everyone to step into their creativity, connect through shared expression, and be part of something larger than themselves. By spotlighting local makers, musicians, and volunteers, Roots & Rhythm will honor the spirit of collaboration that fuels both personal growth and the creative economy we rely on.
